چکیده

Methods for extracting mineralized alteration information using remote sensing images have recently become both efficient and cost-effective. Technology involving the extraction of based on multi-spectral data has been widely practiced effectively verified. In recent years, research fine mineral methods hyperspectral also rapidly developing. The Yulong copper belt is a porphyry located in China with high prospects mineralization. However, most previous studies focused northern section belt, limited exploration southern section. this study, was extracted from Landsat-8 OLI, ASTER, ZY1-02D, prospecting potential area evaluated. Principal component analysis used to extract iron oxide hydroxyl data, addition Al propylitic alterations ASTER data. Considering challenge too many pseudo-anomalies traditional methods, mixture-tuned matched filtering (MTMF) method more accurately alterations. Regarding minimum noise fraction pure pixel index algorithms were white mica carbonatite endmembers. MTMF mapping, which took advantage sub-pixel abundance mapping finely divide into five classes. results multi-source then compared analyzed avoid occasional single-image results, confirmed superiority methods. Combined field verification, mineralization coincided spatial location Secuo, Mamupu, Jicuo deposits, accuracy extraction. study application resource exploration. important reference significance further geological belt.

Permafrost Presence/Absence Mapping of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Based on Multi-Source Remote Sensing Data

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP) is known as the Third Polar of the earth and the Water Tower of Asia, with more than 70% of the area on the QTP is covered by permafrost possibly. An accurate permafrost distribution map based on valid and available methods is indispensable for the local environment evaluation and engineering constructions planning. Most of the previous permafrost maps have emplo...

Invasive Species Spread Mapping Using Multi-resolution Remote Sensing Data

The invasions of non-native species of vegetation pose significant threats to natural environments at all geographical scales. Saltcedar has been commonly treated as one of the several most threatening invasive species in U.S. in the next ten years. The spatial extent and density of infestation by saltcedar in the Rio Grande floodplain has been poorly understood in the past. Remote sensing prov...

Mapping Forest Canopy Height over Continental China Using Multi-Source Remote Sensing Data

Spatially-detailed forest height data are useful to monitor local, regional and global carbon cycle. LiDAR remote sensing can measure three-dimensional forest features but generating spatially-contiguous forest height maps at a large scale (e.g., continental and global) is problematic because existing LiDAR instruments are still data-limited and expensive. This paper proposes a new approach bas...

The mapping of hydrothermal alteration zones on the island of Lesvos, Greece using an integrated remote sensing dataset

The mapping of hydrothermal alteration zones associated with epithermal gold deposits on the island of Lesvos in Greece has been carried out using Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) satellite and ground remote sensing data. The initial analysis of the satellite data using the minimum noise fraction, matched filter and spectral unmixing techniques identified the altered rock outcrops clearly. The iden...

detection of hydrothermal potential zones using remote sensing satellite data in ramand region, qazvin province, iran

ramand region is a part of qazvin province located in south west of buin-zahra. in this region, hydrothermal alterations have been extended within magmatic occurrences and therefore are mostly detectable by remote sensing techniques. altered facies could be well enhanced after applying selective principle component analysis (spca), least squares fitting method (ls-fit) and spectral angel mapper...
